| ALC Education and Training Programme |
| The ALC has realised early on that in order to grow laser science on the African continent, there is a need to embark on a concerted drive to create the necessary skills base. This is now pursued through insightful educational events that are organised by the ALC Office situated at the CSIR National Laser Centre in South Africa. A call for proposals to provide training on behalf of the ALC is now open and will close on 30 September 2008. |
