The ALC and LAM network have decided to form a formal relationship and to work together in the establishment of sustainable cooperation programmes in the different areas of laser sciences. This agreement was signed in 2008 by the then ALC Board chairman Dr Thulani Dlamini and the President of LAM Network, Prof Ahmadou Wague. The cooperation concerns the areas of (1) Training courses/workshops in laser based sciences, (2) Infrastructure development programmes and (3) Mutual beneficial cooperation with international partners.
